Transitions Halfway Ministries opens
Cross Contract Labor. In early 2009, at the bottom of the economic melt down, we were compelled to think
outside the box. Since jobs are the centerpiece of our rehabilitation program, and jobs were extremely scarce, we began looking
for enteprenurial solutions. Cross Contract Labor was born out of necessity and has provided a much needed boost.
Dear Employer: Transitions Halfway Ministries operates Forgiveness House and Forgiveness Faze 2, transitional living and learning
centers designed to assist men leaving incarceration re-enter our community as productive, responsible citizens. Cross
Contract Labor is an “in house”, general labor staffing company created within Transitions Halfway Ministries
which allows our facility to place men and women out on contract labor agreements or as daily "temps" with
a wide range of Memphis employers. Cross Contract Labor (CCL) is State of TN Licensed, carries Workers Comp and Liability
Insurance, and provides transportation to the jobsite. Our men and women are drug tested at application time and routinely
during their stay at the living center, and monthly during their employment tenure. Our personnel also qualify for a
$5000.00 bond, underwritten by Travelers Insurance Co., which protects potential employers against loss resulting from any
criminal activity on the jobsite. The bond is free to the employer and to the employee as the premium is paid by the State
of Tennessee. We are ready to provide 10-20 men to building contractors, industrial sites, landscape services, and warehouse
operations. Please give these men an opportunity to prove themselves at your company. Thank you. Don Pierce, Operations 901-515-7531 Bob Sauter, President
