Founder Bob Sauter devotes much time to the operation of Forgiveness House in the financial/fund raising, food service and building maintenance areas. Together with Don, Ronnie and Tom, we form an experienced, well-rounded team. We encourage our residents with love, dignity and respect. We help heal some of the emotional scarring, promote spiritual growth, assist with secular needs, restore identities, and help the men to rebuild damaged family relationships. There is never a dull moment at Forgiveness House.

It has long been Bob's desire to help men being released from prison

Bob, founder of Transitions Halfway Ministries and Business Manager at Forgiveness House, is a non-denominational Christian lay leader, husband to Belinda, father of three, grandfather of seven, and an active member of Kairos Prison Ministry and Promise Keepers. Since retiring from his secular work, he is busy each day transporting men to and from work, and counseling and sharing the Gospel with them. Ocassionally, you may see him on a golf course impersonating someone that can actually play golf.

Our Programs
Forgiveness House conducts an array of Program Segments designed to assist men in integrating back into an everchanging, more complex society. Each evening following prayers and dinner, our residents gather for approximately one hour to participate in various Life Skills courses, such as basic Money Management, Substance Abuse Counseling, Anger Counseling, and Bible Studies.
